Overview

Haff Réimech. 15/04/98; 313 ha; 49°30'N 006°22'E. The site is an old gravel excavation area on the left bank of the Moselle River. It consists of several small to large ponds and lakes which provide habitats for several Luxembourg Red List species. It plays an important role as resting, feeding and breading area for migratory birds and supports mammals, reptiles, amphibians, and several species of fish.
